Even though face lift surgery will always provide the most effective results for fighting aging, in one 30-60 minute session your brow, eyes, and neck can be revitalized. Whereas laser procedures address lines and wrinkles by treating the superficial or top layer of skin, Ultherapy targets the deeper foundational layer of skin that is typically addressed during a facelift.

By using a smooth ultrasound handpiece, Dr. Chapman will be able to look at an image of your underlying facial skin tissue. From this image Dr. Chapman will then determine where to deliver small deposits of focused ultrasound energy to the deep tissue layer. In response to the ultrasound energy, your skin will begin to produce new collagen giving you a natural toned and taut look.

Although you may experience some redness in the hours after the treatment, you won’t need to take any special measures. Some swelling may occur for a few days following the Ultherapy procedure and slight tingling may occur for up to several weeks afterwards. However, you will have no downtime and will be able to return to your normal activities the same day as the procedure.
